Goodbye Tours and flight home

The group leaves Tours tomorrow morning around 8:45 a.m. by train to Paris.  Students will say goodbye to the host families at the Tours train station.  They will have structured literary visit of the city led by Mme Acherman and M. Descamps.  At the end of the day, they will head to Suite Novotel Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle for a deserved night rest.  On Sunday, they will visit different monuments of Paris and catch up on some shopping.

On Monday morning, the flight home takes them from Paris to Washington Dulles, via Frankfurt.  Below are the flight numbers if you want to track them:

Bonjour, vendredi le 15 mars 2011

Today, most students spent a lovely first hour of classes in Mme Achermann's European section of English class, learning about landscapes and photography.  
Just next, we spent an hour walking through old Tours, visiting the remains of the ampitheater which dates to Roman times.  Amazingly beautiful!!!
Next, we spent an hour touring and learning about the architecture of the Cathedral in old Tours.  Just wonderful.

Nous sommes arrivés !

We arrived safely in France yesterday!  The school had a nice drink and snack of quiche and pastries for us.

This morning, the students had a group breakfast with the students from Tours.

Everyone was happy and smiling.
